Talks and Workshops

I offer a full range of  Talks, Workshops and Classes. Please contact me for the full list, below is a taster of what is on offer....

CLASSES
Twice a week I hold leisure classes in P&Q for all levels at Ightham Village Hall, Kent, and Seal Village library, Kent.  Plus a variety of ‘Friday special’ days throughout the year. Please contact me if you are interested in attending any class or Friday special for venue information. My P&Q and textile group is called ‘Hope Quilters’. 


TALKS  & WORKSHOPS  
Alternatively, if you would like me to visit your group, I offer a range of Talks & ‘25 of the best’ workshops for you to choose from.  The workshops cover all aspects of P&Q that can be stitched by hand and/or machine. These can be tailored to your groups’ requirements. 

LECTURES 

1)   "SYLVIA CRITCHER ?...Oh! -  That’s Charlie !"      
How the quilt "Thank you Charlie"  came to be made, together with some other works carried out over the past 5 years.                                                                                                                Illustrated with slides & examples of work.    

2)   "CORDED & STUFFED!"...Ivory Splendour..."Is it Trapunto?" 
An insight into the work demonstrated at the National Quilt Shows. Traditional techniques that I have combined to make my own - simple but stunning. Illustrated with slides and examples of work.

WORKSHOPS  - 25 of the best!!
A variety of techniques can be covered on Day Schools. These may be made to suit your own needs, or chosen from the list I supply. 

Whilst I would do all I could to accommodate a request at short notice, bookings are preferred at least 6  to 12 months in advance. Please contact me for further details.
